Academic Planner

Academic planning for KV BKP(AFS) is prepared by KVS Regional Office Kolkata & Head Qrs. & we
follow their planning & directions as per directions with slight additions as per need in the light of
NEP.
We keep the following points to follow for betterment of students.
General Education: It is mainly designed to lead participants to a deeper understanding of a
subject or group of subjects, especially, but not necessarily, with a view to preparing participants for
further (additional) education at the same or a higher level. It improves the intellect, knowledge &
conscience of students. We follow CBSE curriculum & follow NCERT books.
Vocational Education: It is planned & designed mainly to lead participating students to acquire
the practical skills, know-how and understanding necessary for practical experience & employment in
a particular occupation or trade or class of occupations or trades.
Inclusive Education: We promote the inclusive education for all students (disabled and nondisabled children with special need & skills) irrespective in any area of their weakness and become
part of the our Vidyalaya family.
Educational Innovation: The Vidyalaya provides the opportunity for innovation in terms of new
ideas and methods. Students are given to showcase their talents during science exhibitions, Ek Bharat
Shrestha Bharat & other programmes. Innovative strategies imply the development of new ideas which
are disseminated and utilized; these usually occur in response to particular problems in NCSC.
Project: Students are assigned with specific Projects with proper guidance as routine activities of
assessment, those must be completed with a set of resources and within a set time interval.
Though academic planning is prepared by KVS, Vidyalaya provides excellent learning atmosphere
“learning by doing”. We take help of audio-visual aids, experiments, data collection methods, using
interactive boards in daily class room teaching-learning process, going excursions, tour to Science
centres, industries, agricultural fields, research centres, defence sectors, computer & AI education etc
to inculcate all round development in a child. We appreciate the suggestions of students, their parents
& experts to improve our short comings & keep on improving.
